Description
“Perfectly balanced with a rich full body and a sublimely velvety texture” A mashbill of 70% Midwestern rye, 20% local corn and 10% two-row malted barley, fermented with a Loire valley wine yeast. Crisp grain. Caramel and honey on the nose, with luscious whiskey sweetness on the palate. The spiciness is accented by notes of pepper, ginger and vanilla and a long, satisfying finish emphasizes toasted oak, cherry, plum and pear flavors. Perfect for sipping neat or mixing as a ‘MidWest Manhattan’. Awarded GOLD by the 2021 San Francisco WSC.
