Cloak Shell Holster Designed for Springfield XD Pistols

Description

This Cloak Shell is molded to match the Springfield XD lineup, giving each variant—from the compact 3-inch subcompact to the long-slide Springfield XD 5-inch barrel—a stable, firearm-specific lockup. 

The shell tracks the XD’s squared slide, forward serrations, and high bore-axis profile so the pistol seats cleanly along the trigger-guard retention point without side-to-side drift. Longer-barrel models, such as the Springfield XD 5-inch or the 4-inch Service Model, benefit from a deep, rigid muzzle channel that protects the front sight and prevents the slide from dragging during reholstering. 

The shell’s tough, non-flexing material maintains its geometry under heat and pressure, preserving retention through daily carry. Paired with a Cloak Series base, the shell spreads weight across the waistband and reduces hot spots common with heavier XD chamberings like .45 ACP. This shell works only with Cloak holster platforms and is not compatible with ShapeShift assemblies or revolver-specific bases.
