Description

At 15 years the ripe fruity notes of this spirit are becoming more refined and fragrant.  It is a sensorial maturity that opens the door to flavor exploration. 

Balancing the delicate elegance of the new make spirit with the boldness resulting from maturation in European oak sherry-seasoned casks, demands a skillful precision.  It is a demand met with firm conviction by the Master Whisky Maker, through an unrivalled understanding of how Glenrothes new make spirit uniquely matures. 

The result is a marriage of the delicate and the bold.  A seeming contradiction which works in harmony to deliver the bright sweet spice of The 15.

Aroma: Dark brown sugar, baked orchard fruits and bright spice.  Hazelnut praline, candied orange peel and maple syrup are complimented by toasted oak and soft worn leather.

Taste: Caramelized pears, dark chocolate and sweet baking spices – cinnamon, clove and cardamom.  Pecan pie, crystallized ginger and orange marmalade. Soft, rich and mouth-coating.

Finish: Rich, sweet and silky with lingering bright spice.
