Description
According to legend, La Gauloise was born when France was known as Gaul in Ancient Rome. The recipe for this mixture was then lost, until 1783, when it was rediscovered in an old grimoire. Angelica, St. John’s wort, saffron, cardamom, and more, are double distilled over a wood fire, and then finished to perfection with eau-de-vie and sugar syrup.
