A beautifully expressive bouquet—ripe black cherry, cassis, and wild blueberry with hints of graphite, dried herbs, and subtle bell pepper. Layers of cocoa, tobacco leaf, and a whisper of sweet oak and smoke lie beneath.
Medium to full-bodied on the palate, a beautiful balance between ripeness and freshness. Blackberry, red currant, and plum interplay with savory undertones of sage and crushed peppercorn. Silky tannins and lively acidity provide excellent structure, carrying through to a long, mineral-driven finish. Precision wine making at its best!
Gentle notes of cedar and mocha, from time spent in used French Oak barrels, accentuate the varietal character lending refinement rather than dominance.
Ideal with grilled lamb chops, herbed pork tenderloin, or roasted vegetables with balsamic glaze. Also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses like Manchego or Tomme de Savoie.
