Grasso Fratelli “Trej” is a non-vintage red blend from the Piedmont region of Italy, consisting of… you guessed it… 3 varietals, approximately 70% Nebbiolo, 15% Barbera, and 15% Dolcetto. By blending aged Nebbiolo with the fresher Barbera and Dolcetto grapes, the winemakers create a “bistro-style” table wine that maintains the structure of a Langhe Nebbiolo while softening its typically sharp tannins with plush, juicy fruit. The resulting profile features inviting aromas of red and black cherries, blackberries, and violets, along with savory undertones of earth, spices, and dried herbs. Truly the best of both worlds in an under $20 bottle of wine. Elevate your pizza or pasta night with this delicious value.
