Domaine des Sarrins located in Côtes de Provence was purchased in 1995 by the Paillard family, who are known for the Champagne house of Bruno Paillard. We also sell their Champagne by the way; it’s great. From its location—between the sea and the Alps, which creates a specific microclimate with Mediterranean influence—to its soils, composed of gravelly limestone with some clay areas, this plot is ideal for growing vines because of its richness. Speaking of rich, the history of the domaine dates back to the 11th century. This small but mighty estate is fascinating in how it has survived the test of time!This wine is a classic Provencal-style rosé with fresh, bright, and floral aromas that lead to a beautifully balanced palate with matching characteristics. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs just as well with both Mediterranean and Asian cuisines.
