Description
Whereas the majority of Diageo’s Johnny Walker empire consists of 100+ year old distilleries that have been renowned by single malt drinkers for decades, Roseisle represents Scotland’s modernity.
Opened in 2010 in the Scottish Highland’s near the town of Elgin, Roseisle distillery has been called Diageo’s “Death Star” and is the size of eight standard distilleries put together. Don’t let the size deceive you, however—it’s also one of the most eco-friendly distilleries in the world, and the single malt being produced there is top of the line.
The case in point: the latest release of the limited edition Roseisle 12 year old. Concentrated with candied fruit, butterscotch, succulent citrus, and rich vanilla, it’s a testament to technology and how precision can create perfection.
A fine, well-refined second-ever expression of Roseisle, with smoothly integrated aromas and soaring tastes that defy the complexity of its marriage of three spirit streams in distinctly different cask types.
