Mezcal produced in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca • Maestra Mezcalera Margarita Blas & Carlos Mendez Blas • Distilled from 100% Espadín (Agave angustifolia), harvested between 7 and 10 years of age • Cooked in a conical earthen oven • Milled using stone tahona • Distilled twice using a traditional copper pot still • Tasting notes include distinct smoke, white flowers, stone fruit, black pepper, and fresh root vegetables • 45% ABV
This is an incredibly friendly expression of Mezcal, exhibiting the light sweetness of fresh root vegetables, stone fruit skin, and white flowers.
