Feather & Flame is rooted in Mexico, inspired by and created with two ancient drinks celebrated by in the Aztec culture as drinks of the gods – Pulque (‘POOL-kay’) and Xocolatl (pronounced ‘sho-KO-la-tuhl’) (chili chocolate). Pulque is Mexico’s oldest alcoholic beverage. It’s ancient origins and distinctive character are the perfect couple for Whistlepig’s boldest and most experimental Straight Rye Whiskey. Nose: Caramel, dark chocolate and orange zest
Palate: Bright citrus leads the way, balanced by soft oak and cocoa with a subtle earthy spice in the background
Finish: Savory cacao gives way to herbaceous chili pepper
