The Naarangi, a product of Amrut distillers in India, embodies a testament to innovation and creativity in the world of whisky. Amrut’s artisans have ingeniously utilized casks previously infused with a blend of oloroso Sherry, matured wine, and orange peel for a duration of three years. Following this, a three-year-old single malt whisky underwent an additional three years of maturation within these seasoned casks. This meticulous process has yielded a whisky teeming with vibrant, citrusy orange flavors that permeate each sip, elevating the Naarangi to a level of distinction and allure that captivates the senses of discerning whisky enthusiasts worldwide.
Nose: lightly toasted oak, orange peel dry leaves, rich sherry, chocolate, mint leaf, cinnamon, nutmeg, jute bag, vanilla
Palate: chocolate, cinnamon, oak, black pepper, ginger
Finish: extremely long, oily, with cinnamon
